Jup, let's go for a hike

It’s a beautiful sunny Saturday.

We go on our favorite trail.

Hike up, and down,

You drink water in the creeks.

Our destination-

The gorgeous waterfall.

You swim, your favorite thing.

We’re back up and down the trail for home.

We’re coming around the bend.

What’s that, a stick?

No, a rattlesnake!

Neither of us noticed it in time.

Your presence may have saved me.

On up and down we continue,

Papi phoning for help for us.

Jup, you’re a trooper.



Kind rangers locate us.

You pass peacefully at the E-Vet.

Our best friend of 9 years is gone.

Truly, what a wonderful final day.

Happily enjoying life to the very end.
